It is tradition for us to have a Valentine’s Day sushi date, and this year was no exception. We spent the holiday in Southern California, enjoying a happy hour by the fire pit and then heading to one of our favorite sushi spots for outdoor, distanced dining. I love Valentine’s Day because it is an excuse to shower friends and family with love.
We have made it a goal to learn how to cook sushi at home. We have started looking into recipe books and necessary supplies in hopes that we can host a sushi dinner party in the future. Or at least a sushi dinner party for two people, a cat, and a golden retriever.
