After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin’s Fine Arts program, I moved to Los Angeles with my (now) husband Will in pursuit of a career in entertainment. Dancing in music videos and acting in commercials was a dream come true. But even with all the excitement of working on Hollywood sets, I still felt my true purpose had yet to be unlocked.
In March of 2020, the entertainment industry, along with most other businesses, shut down due to Covid-19. Once it seemed like the shut down may linger on indefinitely, I decided to pursue an idea that I’ve always had in the back of my head – starting my own blog. And thus, The Fox on the Rocks was born.
I hope to share with you my passion for fashion, travel, food, cocktails, holidays, and the arts. My goal is to inspire new ideas in all those who want to add a touch of whimsy to their lives. Capturing the joy and adventure of life is something I’ve always loved.
Pursuing all these crazy dreams of mine would not be possible if it weren’t for my east coast husband, Will. He has always been the rock to my kite. I am thankful our paths serendipitously crossed all those years ago. Since then, we’ve added our golden retriever, Lucy, and tabby cat, Theo to our growing family. I hope you enjoy following along on this journey!

The fox is one of my favorite animals. “On the rocks” not only highlights my love of nature, but also alludes to my love of drink recipes and craft cocktails.

In addition to being a professional dancer, I am also an award-winning choreographer. I’ve set routines on dancers all over the country. I love searching for empowering music that results in the creation of kinetic art.
LAKE LOVERS
I grew up spending summers on Lake Vermilion in Minnesota. Will grew up spending summers on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. We both feel most at home surrounded by glistening lake waves, majestic trees, and the beautifully haunting echoes of the Loons.

Wanderlust
I love to travel. I enjoy the thrill of moving to new places and experiencing different cultures. There is no place I won’t visit at least once, and my ultimate goal is to visit all seven continents.
