Today I found myself reminiscing about Venice, Italy, so I decided to share a few snaps of this architecturally stunning city. I traveled to Venice while on a European dance tour through my college Fine Arts department.
While in Venice, we walked through narrow streets with gelato in hand, marveling the views and soaking in the sun. We then checked out a glass blowing factory. It was incredible to watch these artists create gorgeous glass art right in front of our eyes. Afterwards, we hopped on a gondola and cruised through Venice’s famous canals. This was a huge check off my bucket list. We ended the night eating way too much pizza and wishing we never had to leave.
As we are approaching nearly one year of quarantining, I find myself now more than ever longing for distant travels to far away places. I am optimistic that new opportunities for adventure will be here before we know it. In the meantime, I am thankful for photographs that capture the memories and the wine I can now legally drink on my patio.
P.S.
