Over the weekend, Will and I decided to take our sweet golden retriever, Lucy for a picnic to Farquhar Park in Huntington Beach. We were all feeling a little restless and thought some sunshine and fresh air would do us all good.
After some serious games of fetch, we set up our little picnic. We made a simple charcuterie board with crackers, pears, and blue cheese (pears go great with blue cheese). Of course, Lucy got a taste as well. It’s very hard to say no to her.
We enjoyed quality family time by sipping white wine, people watching, and chatting about what we wanted to do for the holidays. It was the perfect November afternoon. These simple outings remind me of what is truly important in life – family and friends.
