A decadent apple cider milkshake is the perfect sweet treat for fall! This twist on the traditional vanilla milkshake is a great alternative for anyone wanting to mix up their usual dessert. Apple cider, vanilla ice cream, and cinnamon combine to create a delicious milkshake that will leave everyone wanting more.
Total Time: 15-20 minutes
Serves: 2 (16-oz per person)
Ingredients:
4 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
1 snickerdoodle cookie, crushed (I bought a package of pre-made snickerdoodle cookies from the bakery section of my grocery store)
2 tsp. light corn syrup
1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. caramel syrup, divided
2 1/2 cups of vanilla ice-cream (substitute So Delicious Very Vanilla Cashewmilk for dairy-free alternative)
1 1/2 cups apple cider
Optional Toppers:
Snickerdoodle cookies
Whipped cream
Reese’s peanut butter cups
Apple slices
Caramel apple
Caramel drizzle
Directions:
- Combine 2 tsp. ground cinnamon and crushed cookie on a small dish. Apply corn syrup around the rims of 2 (16 oz) glasses with a kitchen brush. Immediately dip the glasses into the cookie and cinnamon mixture. Then, drizzle caramel syrup along the inside of each glass; set aside.
- In a blender, combine apple cider, ice cream, 2 tbsp. caramel topping and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Blend until mixture is smooth like a milkshake. Pour into your glasses and add any of the recommended toppers that you desire.
