I absolutely love decorating for the holidays, and Halloween is no exception. The glow of jack-o-lanterns and candles mixed with autumn tones and spooky decor creates a magical atmosphere for kids and adults. If you have a spare shelf, hutch, baker’s rack, or bar area, then you have the perfect spot to decorate for the season.
I tend to be more of a maximalist than a minimalist, and this Halloween hutch is no exception. There are over 38 candles lit (some tea lights, and some battery operated). If it resembled a pumpkin, I found a place for it. Leaf garland is wrapped around the hutch. To add the extra twinkle, I wrapped a strand of orange Christmas lights around the leaf garland.
Orange plaid pillows and a faux fur rug complete the look. Pumpkins and mums fill out the lower space. I also scattered fake leaves around to make it feel even more authentically autumn.
