I chose to go a more bohemian direction with this outfit by pairing it with a short brim hat and black boots with tassels. I kept the color scheme simple by sticking to all black accessories. You could also pair a warm grey top with lighter, distressed jeans for an even more boho look.
Make it Dressy
Want to dress this outfit up? Swap out the boots for heels and add some bold, sparkly earrings. I personally think hats can be dressy, but if you would rather lose the hat, a pretty hair updo would not only look classy, but help show off your statement earrings. Simple swaps can dramatically change the outfit vibe. Don’t let anyone tell you plaid can’t be dressed up!
